I'm hoping it comes with an in depth tutorial on setting up a screen set for using Audio Snap on 3 takes of 12 tracks of a live drum kit.

I need help with that.

Start with 4 mics until you get comfortable with it. Add further close mics when/if and where you find a need.
 
Try not to keep the duff takes, use one that works all the way through.  Comping a live take doesn't sound too good usually.
