Sonar X3: Way to quickly mass import audio files into Take Lanes ? [SOLVED]
Hi everyone,
some months ago, in my post "Can you use X3 comping on audio tracks imported into X3?", found here
http://forum.cakewalk.com...-m3129448.aspx#3129461BobF was klnd enough t answer:

Click the Take lane button on an empty audio track. You should now see T1 under the original track. Now click the '+' in T1 to add an additional take lane. Repeat for as many as you need.
You can drag/drop from media explorer to each of these lanes and COMP away!
That works well when you move the files from the explorer into the take lanes one at a time. However, now I have a problem in that I have about 10 projects, which each require me to import 40-60 clips of something (don't ask) as takes. Loading in one at a time gets very tedious, especially as often clips require a nudge after the drag move so thatthey each start exactly at time 0:00:00.
So I've created, say, 50 take lanes, but I can't seem to mass import from explorer.
When I select all 50 clips in the media explorer and drag them to my first empty take lane, one will move there; but the other 49 will not; rather, they move into the project as normal audio tracks (i.e. not take lanes) which Sonar automatically creates for them when I move then from explorer. Then, when I try, either individually or collectively, to select all these 49 new audio tracks, and with the move tool, try to move them into the 49 empty take lanes, only one moves, and the rest stay put.
In fact even when trying to move them individually from the audio tracks to the take lanes, I get some unexpected behavioor -- seems buggy to me. I.e., I move one clip from one audio track to, say, empty take lane 1, it works fine; but when I then try to move a second audio clip to empty take lane 2, it works, but then the clip in tke lane 1 disappears.
Any advice would be much appreciated; this is turning the project into a real buzz kill!
