On one of the bike forums I used to use (now closed) it got real ugly to the point where some were meeting up to 'sort out their differences'. I guess being a Fat Fanboi is pretty tame in comparison.

I've long since lost my PA4, PA5 & PA7 install sets. It also appears (according to my CW account) that I never did purchase Sonar 2 even though I did buy it for my son.

daveny5 I've purchased every version of Sonar I have. I'm sure I'll fix it myself. Yes, I ran a registry cleaner. I guess it was too much for Sonar. I'm having this same problem. It occured after I ran a program called CCleaner, or it may have been Advanced System Care. My computer forgets how to play mp3 and wav files as well, does this happen to you too? A system restore works, but I guess I have to get rid of those programs.

I don't think discussing crack on the forums is very appropriate. Mind you, to be fair you'd get plenty in those boxes.

Sonar users do like to help the environment. They never throw anything away! Mind you, I bet if you throw Sonar 3 away you'll want to install it again the week after.

Hate to dig up a thread that the op was probably real glad to see the end of, but it is a masterpiece of coffee house humor I must say! And an excellent example of how those whom master DAW software are also ace at photoshop. The one about CJ carpet put my coffee 3 blocks away!! :)))) Only a few around here would get that one. PS: Clue 1 Look at his avatar and notice the Turkish looking carpet. But then again, the boxes might have been over at the neighbors too.

I am also getting this message. After installing the X1c update I installed X1 Expanded according to the instructions. After reading the earlier posts on this thread I tried reinstalling from my original LEGITIMATE download. I am still getting the error message. Any help will be appreciated. I have been a Cakewalk customer since Cakewalk 2.0.... circa 1988. And I have pics too :-). Thanks Tim
