I don't really like the idea that the E tuner thingy is becoming "required reading" and you'll have to custom order one without it, if you don't want it.
They still make some fine guitars, though!

Once you get used to the automatic tuning, you become addicted. I wasn't around for the transition from pegs to gears, but I would think it's sort of the same thing...

Yesterday I raised the Zero-Fret Adjustable Bridge a couple millimeters so I could play slide without fretting out. Set the tuner to open G, pressed a button, strummed a couple times...bingo, tuned for slide. When the slide part was done, I lowered the nut and went back to standard tuning. It was all very painless. I never got into alternate tunings before the robot tuning thing came along.

You can also create "sweetened" tunings where strings are just a few cents sharp or flat, and it even does tuning with a capo on now. Pretty cool.

The first 3 books in "The Musician's Guide to Home Recording" series are available from Hal Leonard and http://www.reverb.com. Listen to my music on http://www.YouTube.com/thecraiganderton, and visit http://www.craiganderton.com. Thanks!

Has this offer expired?
Like Sharke I did the survey days ago and just went to retrieve my code but it doesn't seem to work (shows it couldn't find it).

IIRC, the discount code was only good through the end of Oct.

I'm an idiot, I didn't write down the code for the $25 after the survey. I thought it was going to be in my account. Oh well.

Follow the link to the survey you were given again. It'll take you straight to the promotion code without having to take the survey.

Thanks Sharke, unfortunately I deleted the email.

You want to laugh, I just found the screenshot that I forgot I took of the code after completing the survey. Go figure. Better late than never doesn't apply this time.

Here's what I got with the help of my voucher

$9.99 (+ s&h) -- can't complain about that. Thanks, CW!

Kinda bummed though, because a little storm just rolled through the area this weekend and the humidity caused the pages of my brand new book to get a little wavy :( Has anyone experienced this with their copies? Might it go back nice and flat in time?
