Sonar updates/NI Komplete Kontrol

First, is BandLab releasing bug fixes? If so, where? And can they be installed in SPLAT (i.e., not just Cakewalk).

Second, has anyone else had a sudden issue with NI's Komplete Kontrol abruptly not working in Sonar (but fine standalone and in other DAWs)?

NI says they’ve heard of a number of Sonar users experiencing the same thing, and says Sonar must have done something recently to cause the issue. Given that it appears to only be an issue with Sonar, and that it occurred suddenly (last couple of weeks), I tend to believe them.

The thing is, I haven’t opened CC or otherwise installed any updates to Sonar since it was sold. Which brings me back to my first question. Have their been updates released? If so, how were they installed without my initiating them? Seems unlikely, but KK failed in Sonar, and Sonar only, even after NI's most recent updates.

Round and round we go... I care not about fault, just fixes, however!

And, yes, I’ve done every troubleshooting step in the book - and then some, including restoring Windows to a previous image when everything worked. Others have done the same without luck.

I have a new machine running W10, Antelope Orion 32+ and RME MADI HDSPe. I doubt more details will help since it’s not just me having this issue. Could be wrong.

Thanks friends!

- Befuddled in Boston (and tired after an all-nighter trying to fix this).

Yes they are, but only for Cakewalk by BandLab - which is basically SPLAT with an extra 6 months worth of bug fixes.

It's been discussed quite a lot already. AFAIK the issues started with the 1803 update.

Thank you so very much, I know I should have searched the forum first, I’m just completely gassed.

Much appreciated.
