Song #2 of 3 - The Dance; Comments welcome!

Recap:  I met a young aspiring Christian Singer/Songwriter through Church ministry.  I was pleasantly surprised by Annelle's Voice and song writing ability.  She was in need of some properly done demo's of her songs and I offered to help record three of her songs.  This is the second of the three.  The first, entitled Steps, was posted earlier this week.

"The Dance " was inspiried by the fact that Annelle's father has to do a great deal of traveling for his job.  Sometimes he is gone for periods longer than a year.  This song was born out of her wonderful relationship with her father.  The song is a simple recording of Annelle playing piano and singing her song in tribute to her father.

Enjoy!

she`s got a great voice ... I`d bring the vox to the center and spread the piano ... right now feels like the vocals are all to the right channel.

Whoa.... to you ...oh...earth and sea...
for the devil sends the beast with wrath.....
because he knows the time is short.....
    let him who hath understanding.....
reckon the number of the beast.....
for it is a human number...
    it`s number is.....
    666

So if JESUS rose from the DEAD
Does that mean he`s the ORIGINAL ZOMBIE?

    alkie,
Thanks for the comment.  I should have been paying closer attention.  Channel tools has always been problematic for me.  Sometimes when I use it to wide the Vocals it results in shifting things to the right.  Maybe it's just my machine.

Either way I corrected this and thanks again!

    Hi Richard,

I'm obviously listening to the "corrected" version

    Nice vocals and accompaniment.

I'm wondering, rather than using Channel Tools, would it be worth trying the technique using "mid/side," as discussed in this topic:-

She has a nice voice.  Nice job recording the piano too.  Simple arrangement works for this song and singer.

Very nice Rich - clear and bright and the piano eq is perfect - it never interferes with the vocal
