Re:Sound Quality of Sonar X1 2012/03/31 01:38:12 (permalink)
Summation..........

The OP could hear a distinct difference on some material within Sonar compared to other DAWs.

Then there were 350 posts of others claiming there was a difference, interspersed with 350 posts of others claiming it was impossible as all DAWs sound the same, and 100 or so posts of other drivel.

Then the OP discovered he'd inadvertently changed the interleave button hence the difference. All those claiming there was a difference had a little egg that needed cleaning and the drivel continues up to and including this post.

Have I missed anything out?

in honor of Easter,  I thought it might be appropriate to resurrect this thread from the dead.

Also, here is a shameless plug for a show I scored for the DIY Network.
The 44+ minutes of music was composed in SONAR X1d with nerry a problem.  Anyone who can watch this show (in The USA) will contribute to this being turned into a series and add to my royalties....

THANKS ALL and HAPPY EASTER

No mate, I don't believe they have (until you just did )

But has anyone mentioned that actually X1 as a first release was far and away the best first release CW ever put out?

    I must have missed that.

At first I couldn't believe that this thread is still going.

Now I can't believe that I've contributed to it perpetuating.

And so on and so on!

Maybe Cakewalk will get with the spirit of this silliness and offer a prize for Post #1000 then close the thread.
