BenMMusTech No matter though I have more heart than you so I can handle the slings and arrows better than you. Neb Since you walk around with both a bullhorn and a target on your back, one would hope...

I wont get into all the techno-harmonic stuff......your vox sounded like Roxy Music/Brian Ferry.....what is great in my book cuz I'm a huge Roxy fan....I'd like to see the idea developed more and I wasn't a fan of the ending..well at least in-light of the length of the vox before it....I would have liked to hear more vox..and more movement/layers to carry the tune beyond where it stopped (development-wise) I like weird stuff....so I liked this...just needed a bit more work IMHO Keep on rockin

I can hear some movement in this piece. Like how the vocals themselves sound.

Thanks for the positive comments guys, I'm out here for the evening. I find it funny the compliment about the vocal triumph considering how I broke the rules but thanks. Mr.t do you know the song I'm talking about in regards to Leonard Cohen it's called there is a war and it's off the album new skin for the old ceremony. Have a listen the you might understand the sentiment in the lyrics. But hank you for all the comments good ban and indifferent. Neb

I'm asking what YOU mean by it. If you're just telling me that you're blindly regurgitating other people's lyrics, I can well believe that.

Well, whatever. I thought this was pretty cool and had to have a second listen. I'm a fan of a lot of stuff you do Ben, this one stands out all on its own. Whatever people put into it, I enjoyed it as a piece of music

Whatever people put into it, I enjoyed it as a piece of music Hey Marius, I know I have a few fans, so thanks for the encouragement. I've got to check the mix and the master on my pissy speakers before I sign of on the mix. I know that this sort of stuff is not everybodies cup of tea but it is what is. I come from the days of albums and this would be a killer track if it was sequenced right on an album. You know when you put yourself out there people are always going to have a crack and as I said, I can handle the slings and arrows. I've got three more killer tracks that are all so different from one another, ones just a pure acoustic number called BrickCloud, ones a house tune I composed with a house mate called Yellow Candy and the other is a knock at the world called Sausage Factory but I might not bother with the last tune because if they can't handle Space Monkey they probably can't handle The Sausage Factory. Well, let me state that I actually really like this song. Has a bit of a hard rock blue peter sound to it. Very cool. I like the flow, the effect, sounds pretty tight.

Thanks Shad, it would seem my personality, which can only be described as a little overwhelming is overwhelming my contributions on the song forum. I'm sorry I haven't been participating, in perhaps the best part of Cakes on-line community. I have gone over my download limit, so I am enjoying the humble speed of dial up internet at the moment. Best wishes Neb
