Sometimes I listen to synth/keyboard players and I'm thinking "yeah, right that seems entirely believable......" many times over.

Pray tell oh wise one.........

What exactly does a "real" synthesizer sound like ?

Like chit?

Never heard of that guy.

Uh... yes.

What a very strange question.

Do YOU know that it's possible to enjoy a bit of fiction without believing it must all be based on the observable physical universe we currently reside in?

I mean when Bugs Bunny ties Elmer Fudd's gun into a bow so it explodes in his face I don't automatically freak out and prepare for the rise of an army of wisecracking, sentient rabbits.

Suspension of disbelief? How does it work?!

or is youz jus' trollin'?

Well, originally I thought that I was just agreeing with James that it wasn't really a very memorable film, at least not for the right reasons, but I forgot that I now live in a world where everyone has to agree with everyone or else they're just being mean.

Anyhoo, if it makes you feel better ignore that bit and read this instead....

Yay, go Beepster!

Man, what a fantastically great opinion of that absolutely superb film you have. You rule dude.

BTW.....Them rabbits are real man and they're coming for the disbelievers first.

Ya know that fire breathing monsters ain't real, right ?

Wow! I didn't notice, but there's a fire breathing monster behind the blond girl!

Too bad she isn't really blond.

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

I don't fink modern wimmens still have carpets -  seems like they prefer the stripped floorboard look now.

At least that's what I've managed to ascertain from asking the internet.

That is pretty unrealistic.  No way her hair would be that intricately styled in the period this represents.
