Standing on shakey ground? Gibson in a spot?

https://www.thestreet.com/story/14280618/1/gibson-guitar-may-default-if-company-can-t-refinance-its-debt.html

I don't want to spread a rumor. I want to know what this might mean for Cakewalk and all of us.
Anyone?

It means I'll keep on using my SONAR Patinum as long as it works and keeps on improving.

If and when it ceases to evolve (as no more development) I'll continue to use it until such time than another DAW has the features and benefits I need no longer in Platinum.

FWIW, I'm still current with Reaper, Studio One and Mixbus so I (ATM) have solid backups if needed.

I'm still current with Notepad and I have someone making custom guitars for me so I'm good!

As long as they make thru the end of the year the lifetime updates will be a wash with no loss.
