Hate to say it, but this will be cracked and all over the net just like the Lexicon bundle.  They need to lower the price to lower folks' temptation.

Absolutly, couldn't agree more!  A prize of €70 would be much better. In the long run it had given Steinberg much more income on massive sale. Everyone had bought it instead. I wounder how many years it will take before the majority of the software companies come to the same conclution. Electronic sale "cost" over the internet doesn't cost much for companies. Only download server time and send out a reg number. All the massive income on massive sale will take care of the development cost + proffit.

Bang on Freddie.

I'd buy it if it was reasonably priced but since I don't use cracked software I shall probably never use it. And this from a Cubase and Wavelab owner too no less.

I'm curious as to how this even works out for Steinberg? They're owned by Yamaha now. VCM is Yamaha's tech and developement was in conjunction with RND... what actually did Steiny have to do with any of it?  And does this three-way have more to do with the high pricetag than the actual new modeling technology? It sounds weird to even call it new modeling tech... haven't they just extended the current modeling to include the actual circuitry of the analogue gear?
