Sunshine Of Your Love - Featuring Two Uns and one Um
Two Uns and an Um.
Mr. Untalented, Mr. Unfunny and Mr. Quantum(effect) attempt a re-imagining*** of a classic Cream song with some surprises along the way***.
Mr Untalented is Karl (FastBikerBoy). Mr Unfunny is Ed (Bapu) and Dave of course is Mr Um.
Mr. Untalented - All electric guitars
Mr. Um - Drums
Mr. Unfunny - Bass, Acoustic guitar, Piano, Organ, Horns & Vocals. You could say he mixed and mastered it too; unless it's bad, then blame it on Karl ;-)
I also want to thank Karl for suggesting that Mr Untalented and Mr Unfunny do a collab. And big shout out to Dave for giving us some real drums to play to.
*** I personally see no point in making an exact replica/cover of a song. For me covers are all about having fun with tweaking them to almost "WTF?".

Sorry Bapu, I hadn't got around to listening to this, I am out of downloads and it took almost 20 minutes to play this track, dial up speeds and yes its fine to do a shameless plug or two.
Ok I loved that, particulary the jam end, loved how it dipped into Donovan. Donovan is very underated. I love the banter too, the mix of american and brits accent.
The whole track was so tight and you gave it a sleezy sexy feel, now there were a few problems mix wise and it seemed to be clipping all over the place when I listened to it.
Now I won't give any mix advice unless you ask for it but whilst the bottom end of the track was excellent there was not enough top end, it just wasn't bright enough.
But on saying that what a great job and I would love to see this band play live, that is one hell of a tight groove.

love it!!! if you don't mind, tho, crit: it's got some undesirable distortion in it. it gets worse near the end when you guys are "yackin" back and forth. I think it's on the vocal track, or on more than one vocal track.

Oh I liked it alright...but then I like Eugene Chadborne playing an oversized bra stretched across an electric rake through a distortion pedal. So I wouldn't take any criticism of mine too seriously.

On the choruses the lead and harmony is all me (well, with the help of Melodyne). On the verses it's a purposely whacked out Anatres Harmony Generator (that's the "distortion" that Reece heard). On the outtro it's also Antares but in this case the lead vocals was not Melodyned (on purpose) and therefore the BGVs there are even more mangled/distorted.
