Speaking of oil... saw a funny TV commercial Sunday night (here in the states)... It was a mock entertainment news expose on the Beverly Hill Billies... funny stuff... I think it was a Geico commercial.

This is pretty funny! Anyway, I'm in for the game, but chances are, if they might really be ready to release 7 by this friday anyway, it may take at least that amount of time to get to 6000. I'm sure there's reasons not to announce the new features before release, but the downside of such a policy is that prospective new DAW buyers might buy another program when comparing simply by feature list. For example, I know someone who went with Samplitude just recently. I have seen a listing of new features for Samplitude 10 and I don't think it is released yet. If the feature list of Sonar 7 was out already, this certainly would have influenced his decision.
