I wish you guys would have done something a little more creative - this is just so cliche' . This was a blast to listen to - really impressed at how quickly you pulled this together and how well everything works together. The vocals, guitar, bass, everything is just really cool. Nice job guys!

ORIGINAL: Jonbouy Wow what an incredible response already. Reece: Glad you enjoyed, thanks for the props on the drums, I tried, and yes we're still laughing at SC's lyric too... Rick: Caffiene issues indeed, there's way too much time that elapses between each fresh cup. I love the high school bands comment imagine a load of youngsters thinking us ol' farts were cool... James: Thanks man, it's always good to get past quality control with a positive. Appreciated! farrarbc: Fun was the target glad you enjoyed, I think there maybe a few more of those absurdities given 'the treatment' over time... Janet: Hah! And you thought we were just flunking off... edentowers: Wow works for us! Difficult to say what comes next as there's a few in the pipe already. Bill: LOL, as longs as you keep bowing you should be safe, don't have nightmares... SteveJL: I kinda like the 'Scorpions' reference, glad you liked. Greg: Fan club president hmmm, does that mean you'd get the pick of the nice ones? We'll have to confer a meeting on that!... Birthday Mark who's 50: Yes you may have a point I did have an eq curve set on the master project that addressed those particular areas but I took it out as I don't always trust my listening enviroment so the feedback is cool, and tells me agin I should always take note of my first instinct. Glad the cat got them subliminal messages!... Kev: Glad you like it and you are now a fan of the plant cat. Gary: Yeah I love that line too...haha! Thanks for the props your stuff don't sound too shabby either! Tom: We're sure glad to be able to excercise a few laughter lines. Creative thinking, man there's 2 pages of emails a day with this lot exchanging ideas...and I'm not kidding you there. Robby: I know the old fertile soup meets lady snow leopard yarn is a tired old cliche but sometimes you have to go with what ya got! Freddy: Plantaemalia! yes good word. I'll bet one of these guys have got lyrics down for that already, glad you could join in the fun. Scotty: Personally I love Strummy's solo here to me its completely the job, not sure where you are getting the delay 'carrying' anything there. But hey ho thats a musical decision not a tech issue. I agree with the overall eq as I outlined to Mark. Glad you liked the rest though. Guys Sounds like we are headed to a starring role on American Bandstand! Look out Soul Train, we are taking over too.

OK I've just tweaked the mastering project as per Mark's findings. took out some of the fizz from the upper mids and just above 8k also, added a weence to the bottom end too. I guess I'm not used to operating at these kind of RMS levels...lol. The dilithium crystals are gonna blow any minute cap'n, she cannae take any more!... Mark: (CLEAN) I like it, is good... Warren: Glad you came around, appreciate you listenin'. Bob: The video ideas you've got there are cool Strummy, Space, Ed, Fog Alex, Barry Manilow and the Pussycat Dolls in the same shot is something I want to see just once in my lifetime. Is that too much to ask?.... Dave: lol, we'd have got this together quicker still if we hadn't been arguing about the catering 20-40% of the time, cheers fella... 6's Ha! That must be my favourtite reply so far. Annette: Fascinting that you should say 'fascinating', all our therapists have been saying the same thing lately... Grant: He's a bit tasty our Strummy ain't he? Alex's intro still knocks me out too. Mosh: Glad you popped in I think between you and Bob (see above) I'm seeing quite a show coming together...I wish I could spell 'Stonehinge' though...

Maybe the best prose introduction to a song ever. Not to mention a terrific, fun song. Straight-faced, tongue in cheek performances one and all. Now I understand.......I GROK........the mystery that is Asparapuss. And here I thought you guys were just being silly. This cries out for a video. Excellent mix. Great guitars, Steve. Solid drums. A ton of fun. Mark

How did you know that my girlfriend was ~2 years older than me? Ooops, sorry about that, Ed! I just couldn’t help myself because that’s what the guys in my cover band and I tell our bass player, who’s like 12 years younger than the rest of us! I’m currently on my sixth listen of Asparapuss for tonight. Oh, and by the way, nice job on the bass. As some of my other bass player friends would say after a few beers, 3 thumbs up! Oh, great, now he’s got a really great #1 song on SoundClick AND he gets all the girls AND he gets 3 thumbs up! And on top of that, he gets to be in the video with The Pussycat Dolls! Some guys have all the luck. Bob
