Evening Everyone, Thanks again for all the comments and suggestions. I've Updated This Track To Include A More Somber Ending and added a few subtle things in there to try and keep it interesting. The Impact I've also been tinkering with the mix to try and make it sound a bit more dramatic (hopefully) This is the first time I've spent a long time working on the mix. I usually add a compressor to the master and be done with it, but i've gone through every individual track and EQ'd and compressed each one. I hope it works. If i could lend your ears for one more listen, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Mark.

Clean: thank you very much. Lynn: really appreciate that, thank you. Robby: I believe that too, and as was shown the other day, we came very close. Manny: I'm honoured you came by, let alone listened 4 times. I love ennio morricones music and would listen to it all the time when growing up, so that must have rubbed off when composing this. Thank you so much for your kind comments. Ohgrant: thank you. Daryl: very much appreciated, thank you too. Shad: can't remember what song you are referring to? But no hard feelings from me at all. Thanks for popping in and commenting, means a great deal. gcolbert: a few people have said the same thing. They say it takes another listen to get it? Ive changed the ending to minor to hopefully sound a little more somber. Thank you for your advice and for listening. Herb: a thumbs up from you means so much to me, thank you very much Robby: as always, you make the funny's. Freddy: thank you for listening and your in depth comments. The animation was superb wasn't it. Luke: Wow! Very humbling comments. You got me blushing. Thank you. Rimshot: Thank you for listening and taking the time to comment. I understand what you are saying, but I thought I was emphasising the tragedy, back to the drawing board? Chandler: from the comments above, there seems to be a devide in if it fits well, or not. I'm confused? James: your comments mean a great deal to me too. I love all your work, and for you to make comments like that makes my week. Thank you very much. Frank: thank you. Philz: really appreciate the comments. Thanks. Mark (mgh): thank you very much. I'm using cinebrass now, so hopefully sounds a bit better. brianb: thanks for listening. No Offense taken here. Paulo: thank you very much too. Thank you all again everyone. I really appreciate all the comments and advice. Mark.

I loved this! The music is great, the video is great and it fits together perfectly. Jamesyoyo said the the mix is lifeless....but then, so is the planet. A perfect match IMO.

Yeah Jim is one talented mix engineer... This sounds "epic!" Such a sad day for the earth though :-( And it comes? It won't be this big? But it will be "big enough..." And we're overdue. Good thing we're spending money on everything other than NASA :-(

Thanks guys. But a slight correction: I merely mastered Mark's wav file. It is a terrific piece of music, and when I heard it I knew that some simple things were not allowing it to shine. I told him it would take a half an hour, and that's all it took!

mstodge Good Afternoon Everyone. Here is a labour of love (and hate), that i have been struggling with for the last few months. *Updated To Include A More Somber Ending, and now mixed by jamesyoyo* Yoyo Mix I came across this video on the discovery channel and really liked it, so I set out to compose some music to it, but it was a lot harder than i first envisioned. I would really love to hear any comments or suggestions on how to improve this as i want to try and get it right. Thanks Mark. Great production all around. Really enjoyed it.

The Composition, orchestration, and the mix sound really great. The timpani roll to the moog? bass segue was my favorite part. best regards, mike

Robby: thanks for listening again. Jim is very talented indeed. Amateur: Thank you. Thanks rimshot, really appreciate you coming back for another listen too. As it happens, your original comments are what made me change the ending. James: Again, thank you so very much for fixing this for me. Thanks shad. Frank: your comments are very much appreciated, thank you. guitardood: thank you very much. Mike: thanks for popping in. Not sure which part you mean that was your favourite part? There is no moog in this.

I've always enjoyed your music and this is no exception. Just incredible bit of work and I agree...I can't believe you're not doing this for a living (unless you just choose not to). Fascinating. I'm guessing I heard Jim's version, as I clicked on the link in your first post (youtube.) So I can't compare the two mixes...but Jim, would it be possible to share how you did that? Beautiful piece of work, Mark! Kudos!

Needs more cowbell! No, I truely loved it. The mix sounded spot on. I understand both sides of the music comments. Depends on how you view the end of the world. This could be a song of the greatest begining.
