Well you two, that was very creative and mood thriving and had some nice changes in direction. The vocals keep your attention and then wonderment sets into your ear lobes. Very interesting piece with a bluesy feel to it, or is it blues at allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll. One thing is for sure, it is out of the box of creativity and candy.

Peace and Blessings, John

John, thanks for listening and commenting.  They don't have an "ODD" genre tab on soundclick so I just keep saying it's blues.  You're right.  Is it?

Wow this is one creative piece. It is like Neil Young meets Frank Zappa with a touch of Buddy Guy thrown in.
Excellent guitar work (nice interplay between bass and 6 string) and change-ups and the lyrics are interesting also.
Really terrific stuff guys!!!

Thanks, Fredster.  That's some pretty good guys you have playing on our song!  LOL.

Most excellent chaps, loved the mood established in the opening bar it then just got better.

As James noted dark and smokey so sweet nice stuff.

(Went back for a second listen)

Hey, John, we appreciate you listening and commenting.  Dark and smokey is a GREAT comment.  I feel dark and smokey a lot, add Mark and we are almost blacked out!  LOL

Hi, Warren and Mark,

This is one very cool blues rocker with great performances, excellent vocals, tasty guitar work and a nice clean, wide mix!

Really creative songwriting and the laid back feel of rhythm tracks almost gave me a very early Grateful Dead vibe mixed in with a vintage blues fusion.

You stuff is always very unique and the musicianship and production work is top-notch.  Great job as usual, guys!

Have a good one!
Bob

Hey, Bob, thanks muchly.  We really appreciate those comments.  I hope your album is selling like hotcakes.  I haven't gotten mine yet but I will.  Thanks again.

Yeah, nice one  I love it when blues gets all spaced-out and twisted. As Batsbrew said, there's a cool tension through this that keeps you hooked. Very cool guys.

Hey, James, how the heck are ya, buddy?  Thanks for checking it out and for commenting.  I look forward to some of your music!

Well, I must admit that I didn't know what to think of it at the first listen. That was a week ago. I listened again, and POW! I like it! It is definately a grower. While I write this, I am on my third listen. I love the harmonies. It almost sounds as if the Cars are playing a blues track!

Thomas (Speedtom), thanks for taking the time to liste more than once.  I'm glad you liked it.  Love the Cars comment!!

I love it when I think I know more or less what's coming and then the tune just totally throws a curve and surprises me. I never saw that spoken section coming at all, but also can't imagine it being any different having heard it. Does that even make sense to you ? If it does, can you explain it to me? ;)

Great work gentlemen. If I had a hat I'd take it off.

Paulo, you actually make perfect sense.  There's always a constant when Mark sends music to me.  I'm gonna have to make a lot of markers on the project because there's always twists and turns.   I had to learn that when there's supposed to be 4 beats ocurring naturally, there'll be 3, so be ready!  Thanks for listening and commenting!

Cool production you guys!  I like the bass mucho grande!  Good engineering all around.  Love the bottom on this.  Fun vocals.  I love to be checking you guys out at a bar sippin' on a beer and bobbin' me head.

Jimmy!!  Thanks for listening and commenting.  I used to love sippin beer and bobbing my head.  Unfortunately I ended up hitting the table!  Thanks for the great comments and for noticing the bass!

Clint, thanks for the listen and comments.  Mark's drums always sound real to me.  I don't know how he does it.

You can't DO authentic, you have to BE authentic and you guys are as real as it gets!

This is such a cool spaced out vibe that becomes rarer to find as music technology marches ever closer to a relentless click track.

I love it.

Jon, I am happy.  Your comments are very flattering and describe what we try to do.  Gheeessshhh, THANKS!

Very cool tune! Love the wide mix and vocal treatments. Your spacy section in the middle is perfect...

funky my friends!  love it!

mix is good and clear, love the crunchy guitars, mark.

there are a few places the drums could use some punch, some of your drums sound like they're in a different room from the rest.
