I got some feeling about this when I watched a quad capture demo from a german trade show- Brandon was representing Roland there.
But on this forum both Brandon and Seth have their handle and then [Roland] instead of handle and then [Cakewalk]- so I donb't know. or do you have definitive info?

I checked the otherr day and someone else was roland as well then- I "took note" and "followed through" on su****ions. Weird that he didn't say goodbye if it is true... And why would he post here with a [roland] attachment? edit" you're right Seth is still [cakewalk]- thankyou for that at least! edit2: he is now [roland] administrator whereas Seth is [cakewalk] moderator... lucky for some...

Maybe they're preparing to swap the Roland name as manufacturer and return the product name to Cakewalk instead of X3?
No matter the case... I wish Brandon much good fortune in his journey. He's been a strong support for us all and has taught many people how to use the various tools The Bakers have cooked up...
But does this mean he won't be doing the webinars with Seth? They make such a good team!

Roland typically uses the brand name approach to their subsidiary companies, allowing the company to manage it’s own affairs.

Just to clear up any confusion; Brandon now works for Roland US and I am still with Cakewalk. There is no pending company name or branding change (that I am aware of). We'll probably still be doing webinars together in the future, as well, but you never know.

Hey Ol' Pal and everyone. Thank you kindly for the well wishes. As of a couple weeks ago I officially started working for Roland in the US headquarters (as did Robin Kelly btw). As Roland owns 100% of Cakewalk shares you can imagine that my job is still closely related to Cakewalk and to SONAR. SONAR is still a large part of my responsibility - and holds a big place in my heart as well. As a self-awarded "Honorary Lifetime Baker"  I'll still be working closely with those at Cakewalk, including Seth. While we have no date as yet for the next webinar I hope that we can continue to bring these events to you with little change. I'll be around here on the forum as well. So, while officially I work for Roland, I'm still involved with and available to the SONAR community which has meant so much to me for over a decade.

I must have missed the press release that Cakewalk is now 100% owned by Roland. I thought they were only major share holders.

That is just awesome, Brandon! (Is "awesome still relevant?) You are by far the best performing demonstrator I have ever watched. I was blown away when you did P5v2 at one of the shows. That was and still is an incredibly, inspiring moment for me.
