Just speaking of my experience with Danny is all.  I can see your experience is clearly different which as far as I'm concerned is a matter between you and him.

Well that's the thing ... it's not just my experience. When things happen in a public place, it's there for the whole world to see. When anything happens here, it effects us all. That's why it's so shocking to me that certain behavior is condoned. Not just talking about a few slips with Danny, and I'm not talking about me vs. someone. There's been a lot of things that have been said here recently between other members that greatly effected me. And like Danny, I do take this place very seriously, too seriously most of the time, but the thought of saying I would put my boot in someones head if they upset me has never entered my mind no matter how riled up I've been.

I'm a human being and if the transgression warrants it I will reserve the right to protect myself and my family and do what is required to put things right ...

That's common sense, we'd all do that, it goes without saying. But when someone keeps pointing it out, that's when it becomes confrontational and threatening.

Related to the subject also but certainly not concerning your good self, is the idea that people come along reeking of self-righteousness expect to impose a level of conduct upon a community that they themselves fall far short of.

There's certain things that are taboo that 99% of people just don't bring up and when they do come up, they stick out like a sore thumb. Things such as threats (direct or indirect), race, gender preference, just to name a few.

For example those that resurrect a lively thread after it has run it's natural course, all the steam has been blown off and it has clearly died down, seem to want to inject it a few days later with a bit of added emotion usually containing something on how the people involved should have handled themselves better, only for it all to kick off again.  You've seen that kind of stuff happen I'm sure.

It's rare, but yep, I've seen it happen. I guess the argument could be made that I'm doing that here, but that's not my intention. It's just been a busy day and I've been replying when I can. What I think is really funny are those threads that are a year old where someone will read it and think it's the current year, and the whole thing will start again. I think that just happened last week IIRC.

It's kinda like some folk vicariously like a bit of drama but would hate to be seen as being a part of it.  It seems a bit less than an upfront way of going about to me but equally destructive.

There's only four people that I've noticed do that intentionally. Three of them rarely come down here, and the other one, God knows how many brain cells he's killed this week or where he's been recently.

Like I said mate always room for one more.  Personally I find it the most forgivable human trait of all being as I've yet to meet the person that hasn't suffered from it to a greater or lesser degree and at one time or another.  Actually when you get to know them you can sometimes spot why what can appear as duplicity to a casual observer can actually make sense to them and for good reason.

My concerns about what other people think of me have long since dissipated, firstly it's none of my business, and secondly what is important to me is being able to put my head down at the end of the day without ME feeling conflicted or bummed out by anything I've done.  The real-estate in my head is precious no point in giving any of it up for someone that would have me feel bad because THEY have a problem.

I've mostly had REALLY peaceful nights for quite a few years now since taking on that shift of emphasis.

My relationship with Danny is enough to know, that is the intent behind his words.

Danny has a history of threatening people with violence on this forum and there is absolutely no excuse for it no matter what your 'creed' states. Saying you take the internet seriously is not a free pass/get of jail free card, it's a cover up by someone who is in denial of their anger control issues.

To see guitarmikeh put on the defense because he said he didn't agree with the violent tone of the post is really f'ed up.

Don't start with me Bub. I have a history of telling YOU to take it in private with me to where you decided to keep it going on like a school girl while posting other threads to cry to your friends about me. You are the only person I have ever "offered outside" on this forum. Let the record show. YOU and only YOU! Where is this history of threats? I told Mccue to stop trying my patience....I told Ben to do the same. Neither were threatened. I growled at them. Stop making things up and getting involved with things that don't even concern you.

When someone such as yourself will NOT man up and continues to spew forth garbage on this forum in my regard and compared me to some bogus NJ show, (while the mods did nothing to you for your antagonististic ways and various thread posting to further defame me due to your own cowardice and entertainment factor) I offered you to take it in private or I'd show up and we could talk about it. No harm, no foul...that's the right way to handle a situation, yes? Instead...you kept on going without taking it in private and posted other threads all over. I wanted it OFF the forum. I still want it OFF the forum. You chose to antagonize me. I defended myself.
 
I'll say it again, the offer still stands Bub. Let's solve it or move on. You had no reason to chime in here. I did not theaten a single person in this thread and I did not theaten Mikeh to where he felt the need to slander me with a murderous signature which I will pursue as slander. Our past did NOT need to be brought up here. If you can't let it go, how can we make it go away? Right...you'll keep on going on about it instead of solving it. So let's do something about it once and for all. We can PM, email, talk on the phone or I'll show up and you can say all these nice little things to my face. What else is there? If none of those are acceptable to you, how about you drink an ocean of stfu and let it die? I can't be any more efficient and open to solving our issues if you don't want to get involved more than running your mouth publicly.

You don't know what nuts is. If you had half the gonads to talk to anyone in person like you did to me on here in your last post, you'd find out what nuts is because you'd be tasting yours. Try it in the real world...especially in Florida where it's legal to carry a firearm. See how you fair calling someone a muderer or lashing out at them like you did to me.
