Alrighty then. Back in high school and my first band, we played Comfortably Numb. My parents were fond of videotaping us kids in our various endeavors and so I dug through the archives and was pleased to find a tape of us playing on the high school steps one pleasant spring day. I'm happy to report that while we had many disturbing issues with our performance, we weren't as bad as that.
No, I'm not going to post it to youtube for all y'all to mock.
Is there somewhere else you can post it for us to mock?

I really doubt this is the "worst band in the world". That's a pretty bold claim.
But by a) getting on stage and b) allowing themselves to be videotaped, they may qualify as the the most judgment-impaired.
I prefer to give them the benefit of doubt and assume that alcohol and quaaludes were involved.
 All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to. My Stuff

You know..... it's pretty obvious that these guys are just getting together to jam around...and someone's GF or something taped it and threw it on You tube. I mean it's really pretty cutting and unfair to rip on them so bad... it's obvious they're not taking themselves very seriously. I've seen this on several boards and it's not really worth chewing these guys up and spitting them out..... I think I'm more embarrassed for the people talking crap than I am more a couple of weekend warriors.

Nobody Here posted those videos
and from the videos perhaps some are"jamming" . but the majority are up there rocking out . like rock stars
and once its on the intraweb its fair game... Im sorry I disagree with you on the point about commenting on them ..
IF they are concerned they would have the videos pulled , they might be getting their 15 minutes of fame, albeit being ridiculed ...
I didnt see any harsh cutting comments here like they suck and sound like S##T..
yea my first time may have sounded like that , but there wasnt the internet in the 60s...

Back in the early 70's I lived on Watercress over on the north side of Lake Worth. I spent many an hour in the fine establishments along J'boro Hwy. I'm pretty sure I've either seen them or guys like them. Just sayin'

I know Watercress. Unique little area, kind of cool in its own way. I Like it. Lake Worth is insane, though. I do like the area North from Lake Worth up to Azle. We live down by the Hulen Mall, and it's a bit congested for my taste. I've seen a few of the little dive bars along 199(J'borro Hwy) and Azle Ave, but haven't had a chance to check any of them out. Any I should check out/avoid?

Back then? Avoid all of them. Nowadays, I don't know. I think Neta's 50/50 Club might be kind of cool these days but don't bank on what I say. I lived right at South Drive and 820 for a few years. Right where South Dr. goes over 820. I live 50 miles west of the Town of the Cow these days.

LOL. Yeah, there was a time when I wouldn't even think about it. But most of them look..um..interesting. Back in the day, In Denver, I frequented a place called My Sweet Lass. Not fancy, but a bit more established, and they always had really good bands. Some local, and some from out of state. Got into some mischief with the guitar player from one of the local bands. Ah, those were the days
