Mod Bod I've sent an inquiry to Audiodeluxe with a request to lower my price from $139.00 to the $110.99 price. That's a little too soon a price drop (from morning to afternoon) IMHO. I bought it yesterday (from Audiodeluxe) at around 5PM Florida time. The price I paid was ~$110. If you bought it earlier in the day yesterday, I'd say you have a good argument to demand an adjustment.

bitflipper Probably a little more of a commitment than I'm ready to make. (replying to cowboydan) There may have been a time that might have brought a chuckle but not now - that's a horible and dibilitating disease.

THis was a BAD week. My poor visa card is recovering with 3rd degree burns to 90% of its wee body. Sonar X2 upgrade BFD Eco CLA compressors L1 ultramaximizer Much more than I intended to buy but I had a little extra money and a dire need to cheer up. Money doesn't buy happiness but it does buy toys. Sometimes toys are enough. Sadly I have nothing from waves except licenses and am still trying to figure out where the D/L is.

Nice choices ampfixer. As far as the downloads for waves- you download the WOLI thing from their website and that downloads the installer proper. From there: run installer- click what you want from within the installer and let it do it's thing. At some point download the waves license centre thing- you need this to get your licenses from the cloud to your computer. But b4 that!!!... go to waves website and make an account and enter your serials to activate your products. Then they will show up in your waves license center thing. A real rigmarole but once you've done it once you realize it is no big deal. I think it is very elegnat in fact. Good luck with it! The CLA compressors are so, so good

Thanks backwoods. I have my account and have registered and activated the plugs. The download part is still missing so I may have to start from scratch.

M@ B Hello, anybody know of a deal on Cytomic The Glue? Nope, I don't think so.. We would have heard about it by now. On another note: Synth Squad is amazing!!! Amazing! And you can use Strobe, Cypher, and Amber as insert fx... So..... If you like Andy's work, and would like access to the filters that he does and all, you can get Synth Squad for a cool $99 at Fxpansion.com... ( Some of the retailers are selling it for an extra 15% off, if you can find their code. ) + If like me, you were an early adopter of DCam Dynamics, you can get the Squad for less than the cost of dinner and a movie... Assuming you have that $30 credit, in your Fxpansion Account... Check this out!! I have already made, my first ever, "Synth Squad sound and sequence." Its a trance saw gizmo.. Um.. This sound has automation applied to the amp decay, so if you want to the full effect, you have to listen at least until you hear the sound evolve to what sounds like, "incredibly long decay." https://soundcloud.com/au...udios/mystery-sequence

Mod - I think Audiodeluxe reduced their prices during the day because some of the sales (like Waves) were officially for one day only and they were being undercut elsewhere. They couldn't wait till next week or even next day as it would all be over. I noticed a few things change during the day in various places. The best thing to do in that case is to contact them like you did. They are usually understanding. On a side note, even if people missed the sales by a day it's still worth checking the relevant stores as many conveniently don't alter their prices for a day or two. Even if they have, you can still ask for the sale price.

fwrend Yeah, I think I have to take the bait on the CLA one as I have the NI stuff. Quick question on Kontakt 5. I updated some of my instruments and now some don't load because they now require 5 - is this right? My choices are upgrading to 5 or reverting back the instruments (or is that possible)? EDIT to add: I see they have Komplete 8 Players - a free download which has Kontakt 5 player. Will these work with K7? Nevermind - they are only a time-limited set of players for demo purposes. I did the same thing a while back. the only way to "revert back" is to install them from the disk. The free player will not work on Kontakt samples because they require the full player to be used. some 3rd party samples are usable with the player IF they paid Kontakt big bucks to be compatible, otherwise they can develop Kontakt samples which are able to be played only on the full Kontakt. BTW - I ended up upgrading shortly after reinstalling the sample libraries I accidently upgraded.

This should cheer up anyone who saw Black Friday deals for something they'd previously bought at a higher price: last Wednesday I bought a new TV at Costco; on Friday it was reduced by $900.
