Does anyone know if these Platinum Samples Midi Groove Libraries, like the  Real Country MIDI Groove Library, works with AD2?
http://www.platinumsamples.com/ps/RealCountry.php
These are only like $25 at Audio Deluxe, but it doesn't specifically say AD2 only AD. So, I'd like to confirm it.

I don't know for sure, but according to Groove Monkee the mapping is the same so it *should* work. I followed their instructions and copied my Groove Monkee AD1 midi files into the AD2 external midi folder and they all showed up in AD2. I tried a few and they seem to be OK.

You can generally put midi groove libraries inside AD2 and they will work , but you'll have to manually rename (within the AD2 folder) all the individual grooves.......which can a be a bit of a pain. I've put all my EZ Drummer midi files in AD2, but I'm still lazy to rename them.

Groove Monkee midi loops I've purchased had special folders in each package designated for Battery 4, EZ(xxxx) and AD programs....

...for browsing and placement in a project, I'll use the SONAR explorer to audition and drag clips of my choice into the midi track(s) for AD 2 ...

I created a template with 2 midi tracks so I can sue one for breaks, fills, etc and one for the main drum patterns

...hope this helps

Thanks to you all. I appreciate the Groove Monkey link. I have a bunch of those, too, and I also, do the 2 tracks thing for main patts and fills. I started doing it back in my loop days, until I got Groove Agent.
Good to know that I can use midi, even if naming seems bothersome.
