Looks like I need to find a bundle of money so I can stay home and catch up on all of these! I doubt that I've seen any of the ones mentioned above...
I'd like to get them as well, but...
Quite a few of the above mentioned have never been broadcast in Finland. Following the witty dialogue requires excellent skills in english language, as the vocabulary isn't what you learn at school, and often very exaggerated local accents are used. Unfortunately in this genre (as well as regarding hospital /legal series) I need the support given by the subtitles in order to dive into the dialogue. That's why I don't bother buying the DVDs without subtitles, unfortunately.
The economical resources available for many of these shows (multitude of writers, carefully created sets, technical quality) make me green of envy. Even though we have some very, very talented comedy actors and writers up here, it's a different thing making a show for 400 000 or 4 000 000 viewers.
