Well done! It sounded smoother and more radio friendly than the original which has more of a raw feeling.

Well, well, well.........well done Mr. & Mrs. G.!! We listened to this just after we had dinner and my 6yr old insisted that I replay this at least 3x.....she said she loves this song and asked a 1001 questions about who sang, as well as what where, and the how's everything involved in this song.

Anywho.....great job on all the playing/production!!

The popular internet consensus is that the low end should be boosted about 6-9dB's (per Bapu's 15 emails).

Hi, Daryl and Ed,

Excellent work on this very stylistic modern take on a great classic rocker!

Great performances by you, Ed, and the Mrs., and the production quality is absolutely top notch.

Super job, guys!

Herb - thanks mate - your absolutely right about that - I've never managed to have a woman under my thumb.
Bapu on the other hand has unfeasibly large thumbs and can fit a couple of people under each one.

James - thanks for the listen - I'm glad you liked it.
The 'Let's Rock and Roll' part is Mick Jagger - it is sampled from an old Simpsons episode.
It took me 4 months to track it down, then I had to get Mick Jagger and Matt Groening to agree to let me use it.
Once I had painstakingly sampled it, I then had to buy Isotope Music and Speech Cleaner ($39) to make sure it was up to broadcast quality. Then there was the trouble I had lining it up in the song so that the drume came in right after the speech.
So, I'm glad you liked it, James. Thanks.

Daryl,
I agree with the others that this is better than the original.   I liked the original but this version much more appealing.   Not just more contemporary but a  better arrangement and performance too.
