I like the percussion. And how can anyone NOT like a song with a dobro in it? I don't think it's possible. This sounds like classic you. I didn't know you were a bitter clinger? (actually I did... so am I...) We've been circling the bowl for some time and I too fear we are headed for the hole :-( "buy ammo..." Love the tune Frank. I love how that organ sits in the background, underneath, and the lead is layered over top of everything (very well played) The vocals are excellent. And the bass? You know my thoughts there.

It sounds like you might know what you are doing there, Frank. +1 on Robby's comments. I might bring the lead vox up a db.

A classic Frank tune presented in your most eloquent and stylish way. Everything sounds in the right place and well balanced here. Good tune Frank, thanks for sharing

Thanks Robby... so glad you like... I'm not at all bitter... I don't cling to anything, except maybe a few really old Gibsons... but I do know where the extra ammo is buried... Thanks for the listen, and feedback James... I may re-sing the lead vocal, and bump it a bit... this is still kind of a rough mix...

Aww yeah, fantastic track Frank. A little different for you, getting a little Chris Rea vibe from this one. That intro is wonderfully done, love how the groove is introduced. Dobro and solo - awesome.

Terrific song, Frank. I don't think my ears are any longer qualified to comment on the mix, but solid songwriting, and great guitar.

I think it's great Frank. I remember the part now. It's easier to hear...you kicked it up a little and just enough. It works because what you did is so original and with style and the lyrics fit it perfectly....and it's style has that "flavor". Cheers Frank.

Such a beautiful opening with some fantastic interplay between the guitars. I think this might be my fave of your tracks so far. The guitar solo is pure magic and played with great fluidity. What a wonderful tone too. If i could be as accomplished with my music as you are with your music i'd die a happy man. You make it sound so effortless. Excellent mix and production too. Superb Frank.

Totally loved it Frank...I feel like I repeat myself when I post about your tunes. LOL @ that lead guitar sound....that so could pass for a tone I'd use there...minus the incredible playing of course, but I can get that tone! LOL! :) Yeah, you can probably pump the vox a little more about a dB or so, but other than that, I totally loved this. Love it when you do the rock feel with the almost "metal" type tone. We gotta do something together sometime where we switch off and solo. It would be an honor to have you obliterate me Sir. :) Great job Frank. -Danny

I really like this one Frank. One of your better works IMO. You have a cool Steve Miller sound (though not at all derivative) that I just love.
