If mods are not to your taste, you can edit ALL SONAR interface graphics yourself. You can also edit 333 interface colors hidden in the EXE file (X2a 64 bit only). No limits anymore...

Want ProChannel without EQ? Now it's possible. Using Empty Preset is the safe way and does not cause problems.

Old example of EXE Color capabilities (no, this theme is not used for music production). The new EXE Color for X2a 64 bit one can tweak already 333 hidden colors.

Skylight Colors is used to batch change Skylight bitmap colors. Using this powerful tool you can tweak for example all "SONAR" blue graphics to deeper blue, green, yellow, blue or anything you want. Presets are included for starting points.

Not to forget full featured Utilities Menu Editor.
Cakewalk's official way to edit Utilites Menu using Windows Registry is so 90's...

Mod Patcher in action. (New version has slightly updated interface but basics are the same: mods are in a tree; select mod and check preview for information; click Apply button and that's it.)

Rotary Knob creator to create new rotary knobs for SONAR interface. Save directly to SONAR or as a PNG file to use them in FX chains.
 

Runtime Colors can be used to change browser colors without use of EXE Colors. It uses the same technology as Ben Staton's SONAR Plus.

Space Age Theme's Control Bar but that's old news. Click F7 in Duckbar to show good old statusbar!

Hi Panup, thank you. Saved from the horrid grey!! Downloaded and working perfectly :) Darkside is instantly a huge improvement. Can't really see why Cake can't or don't want this.

It does not matter anymore that Cake did not give us colors because we can change literally all colors in SONAR X1 and X2. If you have X2, apply the Interleave button hotfix mod, too.

Thank you, panup, for all your work and help!!!!!!   Duckbar worked fine here, and I decided on Danzi's Twilight Zone for now until I make some small adjustments. 

I was unable to run the NiteLite .exe file download correctly, so I could not sample that one, but that's ok.  I'll just make my own color changes.

I will be sending you a donation!
