Ya...it'll look kinda silly when Audiodeluxe or wavesuniverse discounts them to like $8.36 or somethin.

Done. Just waiting for the SN to register.

Almost as if Waves were spying on me and my web activities and saw me downloading (the excellent) DDMF II EQ Pro last night as a possible alternative to Q10. ;)

That being said, I may very well end up getting the DDMF one as well. Incredible bargain at $40.

Christian's plugs are excellent, especially the 11EQ, LP10 & NYC.
They used to be donation-ware but they're still affordable considering the quality.

Yep. I was quite impressed when I saw the drop down list of available filter types for any band - especially considering that my biggest issue w/ my current bundled EQ is the lack of options for hi pass filtering.

All I need is this book of matches and that's it...... and this toilet seat, and that's it.

I kid. Those deals are really hard to pass up. I grabbed my first Waves plugs recently and I think they are great. I have to say that almost all the software companies had great holiday deals.

All I can tell you is that I've just finished replacing the two EQs I was using on a lot of the channels on the project I'm working on w/ Q-10 and I'm delighted.

Speeds up my workflow quite a bit to be able to double the high pass filter if needed, use a couple of bands for surgical EQ to kill a couple of frequencies and then proceed w/ regular eq'ing duties, using only one plug-in. Heck, I still had a couple of bands available on the most heavily processed tracks.

My wish list is getting shorter though, w/ all the recent deals. Q-10 was on top of that list. That leaves (Waves) Bass Rider and maybe C4, and then McDSP's limiter, which I really dig but need to upgrade in order to use it outside of Pro Tools.

Well it's a great price if you get use out of them. I still use those as go-to's & in my templates.
I just hope Waves doesn't have some kind of 'surprise' coming with all these lower prices.

Imo supertap is worth $8 but no more. I'd hoped it might be the delay I'd been searching for all these years, but it isn't. The UI makes Sampletank's seem large by comparison. It behaves strangely, with settings randomly changing and is prone to clicks. The search for thee ultimate delay plugin continues.
