and I am amazed that there are still folks who are convincing themselves it will

Well, if nothing else there's the separate snap values, and that's a big "yeah!" for me.

It's an improvment for sure... and shows that they are listening, but benstat's Sonar Plus solved that problem for me long ago (mostly)...

I've never used Benstat's app, mainly because I just don't miss the mass of icons that no longer exist in X1 - I've always been more of a mouse click + keyboard short-cut user.  I just find it faster for the way I work.

However, I would like to see a customizable panel in the Control Bar at some point for the more obscure stuff I don't use as regularly.    I know, I know, I could just Benstat's app...

It is still well worth a look. I feel the same way as you but have SonarPlus installed but it only has 2 icons on it - the full screen & preferences icons. I use it for the different snap values and the full screen mode and that's it.

Great app. Thanks Ben BTW

We'll probably hear on Friday... Last wwkday (business day) of the month... The Bakers are taking advantage of every minute available while still coming thru with their promises! (I hope) ;-)

I heard that the bakers need two more votes for the update plans, but the support team has said that the update is DOA and will be tabled... and the CEO will veto it anyway.

Technically the end of the month is not until late Sunday... I look for it just before midnight pacific time.
