Weird Latency with Machine Plug-in- Solved

I'm loading Machine as a plug-in into SonarXL Producer and controlling midi notes with an M-Audio Keystation 88 everything is fine before I hit record in Sonar I.E.all audio sounds simultaneously with keystroke inputs , however as soon as I hit record in Sonar and I input a key stroke on my midi controller there is 2 to 3 second pause before sound is heard no other plug-in exhibits this behavior. I take Sonar out of record mode and play back the recorded midi notes and I'm back to zero latency again. I'm scratching my head here?

You need to lower your sound card's/audio interface latency setting. That's all you need to do. Hopefully you have a sound card with good drivers. Otherwise you could be S.O.L until you get one.

This explains what is is and how to solve it

sounds like you have some bad plug-in compensation goin' on, maybe from another plug-in. Try hitting the PDC, button. Also try hitting the FX button (bypasses all effects). Or try setting plug-in delay compensation to false in the configuration file.

Thanks for the replies, CJ this is not an audio problem nothing that simple I'm afraid (solid drivers, professional audio interface) as the post stated no other plugs display this problem and it only happens during recording of  MIDI notes, it plays in sync at all times except during recording of MIDI events, it's as if it's playing a full measure out of tempo after striking a key.
Blogman, thought the same thing but again if I'm not recording MIDI notes to a track there is no hesitation between key stroke and sound, only after arming the track and starting to record MIDI notes, I will strike a chord and a full two or three beats will go by and then you will hear the audio, there are no other plug-ins running or FXs related to the track and when you play back the MIDI track it syncs perfectly. Still scratching my head.

Well scooks that was it. There is a bug when it comes to my Machine plug-in and the Sonar metronome, some how Machines audio engine delays it's output in proportion to the count in of the metronome so the simple work around is stop the metronome for counting in. Thanks again for the link.
