What are your favourite Android Apps?
Utility, music, or other wise.... I've just started using PowerAmp for music and have to say that it's really good....the 8 band EQ is ver good as well. It's fully functional for the first 2 weeks, but I think I'll pay the $3.99 to have it (unless I find a just as good/better free one). What are your favs.?

G-strings is a nice lil tuner Wetransfer is great for sending large files (up to 2 gigs) Wi-Fi Manager gives you valuable info about wireless connections within range and is helpful in troubleshooting. When I realized my router was on same channel as neighbors, changing was a big help Anydo is a great task organizer an syncs well with google calendar in addition to its own free Cal program 360 security does a good job of cleaning junk and malware

If it's apps in general that you're looking for, the Lifehacker website does a weekly roundup of their favorites. In fact they also have an excellent app directory for each platform which is constantly updated. You can find out what they consider to be the best apps for particular tasks. http://lifehacker.com/the...-best-apps-for-5803257

I just got a new iPhone 6 plus, 64GB. The price in full was $400 (with a 2yr contract). Then they gave me $200 for my old iPhone in an upgrade promotion. On top of that, I've just been informed that as a new Verizon customer, they're giving me $150 credit. So all in all, the cost of me switching from AT&T to Verizon with a brand new iPhone 6 plus was $50. W00t!
I've never owned a "big" phone before. This thing is HUGE. The first day I got it, I thought about sending it back. Even though I have big hands it just seemed impossible to use one handed. A day later and I'm already getting used to it. I have all of my pdf manuals on my phone and it's great reading them on a large screen whereas before I was straining my eyes a bit. And the battery is a monster compared to my old 4S. After about 12 hours of quite heavy use (lots of web surfing) I still had over 50% left.
Sorry to hijack this Android thread by raving about my new iPhone, but it didn't seem worth starting a new thread...

What type of mic will you be using? Considering the sound source, these are only general suggestions.....YFMV*. Dynamic mics are useful when the sound source is close and reasonably loud - wind shield needed Capacitor mics work well in most situations and have sufficient sensitivity to pick up quieter or more distant sounds properly - no wind shield needed *YFMV -your farts may vary

KenB123 On the serious side, a very good app is "Instant Heart Rate". It uses the camera on your device to detect your heart rate.

Versions for both Andriod and IOS.
Does it call 911 or the Vampire/Zombie Hunters if no heart beat is detected?
