Guitar Center has a 15% off sale on everything over $299 ... this weekend. Something like that would have free shipping as well.

Funny thing for me is that these pictures are four years old. Things are a bit different now in my studio. The device you see on the stand is a Mackie Control Universal, and I still use it. Paul

No problem. It's too small for me too, as you can see by my current desk. Hope you find the right desk for you. Paul

I don't use a desk I use a bracket & shelving set up. The advantages are it's very modular, very space effiecient, & relatively cheap, dis-advantages are it's not simple to move around and probably not best in terms of helping room acoustics. These are an example of the brackets & used in combination with these and some shelving boards, all you need then is imagination, a power drill, raw plugs and screws. Here's what mine currently looks like. The brackets & uprights both come in lots of different sizes and with some pre-planning you can build a bespoke system to fit you that can be relatively easily enlarged later.

kc2ine so Adrian, have your gear paid for itself? you won't belive, but whole stuff is for passion puproses only :) I was dreaming about Z1 when I've seen it first time (freshman on university), so few years ago I had opportunity and enough money, so I bought it. the rest is logical way... interface, computers, etc. In a fact I'm into music since I was child, but never had opportunity to learn playing or go to music school - hard times in Poland. I have little plans to earn money on my stuff, but for now there are just bunch of ispirational gear in my "music room" just for fun, for composing a song from time to time, just for enjoy and give me some peace and asylum when I need to.
