1 week later and I am still waiting for the serial for Notion crossgrade that I ordered through JRR at the same time as I ordered Studio One crossgrade. Studio One took a few days to come through, but I can't see what the delay with Notion is. I don't blame JRR as such. I imagine the problem is with Presonus. JRR warned me that it may next week (last week). It's only a license key FFS, not a postal item :)

Splat, Win 10 64bit and all sorts of musical odds and sods collected over the years, but still missing a lot of my old analogue stuff I sold off years ago.

The Faderport 8 arrived today.  JRR said it was being drop shipped, but it came from JRR in California.  Never the less...it's finally here!
All that said... THIS is the reason I'm glad I'm getting into Studio One Pro.  Total control and it's SO much better than using the mouse. Even I can see that after an hour of use.  Will most likely replace drawing in automation as well...unless getting REALLY picky.
Oh well...I'll quit whining now...and off to record!

Uncle E at JRRShop is utterly reliable at making good on problems......

Will never do business with them in the future. Emailed them about a question about Presonois Studio 3 Pro that I purchased from them and they never responded back!

Hey mixmkr glad to hear it finally got worked out. About to order S1 tonight and now wondering if it is going to involve pain after reading all this drama....yikes. Just bought Harrison Mixbus but Melodyne with S1 is a good option at the discount offered.

Is the Faderport really good without a scrub wheel and no metering? To replace the mighty 700C I was considering it, the 16 fader version and the Behri X Touch jobby.

Cheers mate and S1 is as awesome as it the impression it gives from the demo

I'm really p*ssed off with JRRShop right now. After ordering crossgrades for both Studio One and Notion, and waiting 12 days for delivery of the Notion license key, I decided to chase the order up again. The response was, "sorry, it appears the Notion crossgrade can only be purchased directly from Presonus". Why the hell was JRR advertising it on their site then? FFS!

I ordered the Sonar cross grade offer last night and received the install code this morning.
In this instance JRR and presumably Presonus have kicked a huge goal.

Sounds like there are some issues though and I hope those get sorted soon for you folk.

I read somewhere that you can turn on metering in the scribble strips, but I don't have my unit in hand to try it out. Going on 2.5 weeks now...

There's metering , but I'm not sure it's really useful. Just tells you if the track is playing back something...
Haven't stumbled upon a scrub wheel yet.  It basically eliminates the mouse...but allows things like moving 3 faders at once....easier...The transport is nice...that kinda stuff.

I ordered my Studio One Pro crossgrade from JRR.

Uploaded my proof of Sonar ownership yesterday, and they got the license out to me today, on a Saturday morning!

Another good experience with JRR.  Will definitely buy software from them again!

DAW: CbB; Sonar Platinum, and others ...
