Mother Nature's Son cover by John Denver off the Rocky Mountain High album

Increasing the tempo and the wall of guitars song production makes the cover much more joyful than the intimate original

Mother Nature's Son by The Beatles on the White Album (video not available).

I'm tempted to disagree for old time's sake, but .......wait for it...........I agree with you. (makes note of date and time) I'm not entirely convinced that it hasn't had some post recording work done though.

I would tend to agree 100% on that, it grabbed me on first hearing it and still does, I actually get goosebumps when listening or watching it to this day.

Never heard that before. Wasn't all that taken with her vocal on it tbh, but I always find it interesting to hear another interpretation.

I'm not sure which version is the most depressing. I think I'll have to go and find something more cheerful now before I hurt myself.

It's interesting how the age difference of the performers gives the lyric a different perspective though.

I'd say it has too, or at least it's been comped from several takes because it seems to go from daylight to dusk very quickly. Cool cover though.

For me I love the Metal ones the best, but some of the melodies has to much harmonies to make it with a distorted guitar. So this version is perfect.

Not questioning whether you think the Clash version is better, but I doubt Bobby Fuller himself felt that way. He died July 18, 1966. Were the Clash even born then?
