What was the name of your first asparagus?


Mine was called Kevin - from the nearby Vale of Evesham.

Mine was called Sundance.

I named him after a famous Wild West gunfighter who later turned vegetarian pacifist. He was often called 'Sparagus because he'd always keep some handy in his old gun holster.

Allegedly the Durango Daily once reported his behaviour in town with the headline, "Asparagus shoots from the hip".
