What's the best TP?

Just wondering what everyone's favorite is since there's been a few "What's the best" threads around lately.

If you can afford it, go with vintage TP for the added character.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Personally, I do like the raw intensity of analog.
I've never seen digitally modeled tp and as satisfying as analog.
Impulse responses of the bowl don't quite "cut it" either.

Is the TP for, well, the "usual" application, or are we decorating the neighbor's trees? It would make a difference.

The most common usage is toilet paper.  I think that's what gustabo is talking about since he's satirizing the "Best of" threads, but I'm not entirely sure if that's what he's thinking.

It could also be Test Point.  I guess it could be short for TeePee.  The native American tent.

    Here are some more definitions:

Ever use Marathon tp? That's what it feels like.

Of course it has to be asked - does anybody remember when public toilets had those folded sheets of butt-wipe and those awful dispensers? You had to use multiple sheets to take care of business.

Then there's the opposite end of the spectrum with the stuff that's so soft it just shreds.

"I am Cornholio. I need tp for my bunghole" (obligatory Beavis & Butt-head reference)

I'm not sure...I don't know if I've tried every kind and I still
haven't figured out how to use the shells.

I was hunting and forgot to take TP with me...a cotton t-shirt
worked very good....not paper but I'd have to say I kinda think
it's better. May not want to try to flush it though.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned the old Sears (or Montgomery Ward) catalogs (used for more than just reading on the ol' porcelain convenience).

    Anyone remember Izal

As I recall, they supplied it in the crappers when I was at school.

Coarse grade sandpaper would have been softer, more absorbent, and altogether more efficient.
