Well I'm glad we've now sorted out that how a studio looks is an indication of how the resulting music sounds. At least I have an excuse now...........

Well, I wasn't talking about the quality of anyone's product. Great music can be made almost anywhere...even alone, on a street corner in the pouring rain. I was talking about running and maintaining a business and building client trust and respect. HTH.

yorolpal Well, I wasn't talking about the quality of anyone's product. Great music can be made almost anywhere...even alone, on a street corner in the pouring rain. I was talking about running and maintaining a business and building client trust and respect. HTH. Absolutely agree 100% my 'ol pal, and with everything you said in your previous post. Many years ago, I ran my own business (not music-related I hasten to had) and nothing speaks 'amateur' and 'untrustworthy' like any form of misrepresentation - people can spend their money anywhere, they don't like being bullsh1tted. Spelling mistakes and poor grammar are also complete no-no's - my take on this is that if you can't be arsed to proof-read any advertising or publicity material (or get someone else to write/edit it for you) how can I be certain you're going to be bothered to give me a professional service. Indeed, what's said, and what attitudes one conveys to one's peers on a public forum is one thing, but when it comes to making money, these things have to be avoided altogether - you need to be up to the standards of, and indeed better than, your competitors. Steve

That's more like it!!!
