This opinion may not be popular...but I think Justin Beiber is a really good singer and has a fantastic production team around him. Listen to beauty and the Beat (very creative video too), let me love you, Sorry, as long as you love me for example (except the rap part). World class production. The mixes sound amazing. His voice conveys a lot of emotion as well. I can hear the vulnerability in his voice. I think he is really very good at emoting. The image and all the crap outside of his music is garbage, for sure.
Kanye on the other hand is a talentless hack, as well as pretty much all 'rappers' (and dj's for that matter). I think rappers and dj's are so incredibly over rated for the little bit of talent they showcase. There is excellent producers behind a lot of those songs though.
As someone that tries to create modern electronic based pop music, I can say its very difficult to achieve what his producers have achieved with his music. World class talent. Its ez to dis, but if you really think its so ez to create, try it!
