I'm hanging for my new GPU to arrive to have 3[again],instead of 2, 1xMain-24" Acer + 1x18.5 HD TV.
When the new ATI 7770 arrives,I can then use the second 18.5" LCD TV,thats already setup, from when I just had the laptop, and stock,my Dell XPS L502x could do 2 EXTRA screens, due to having HDMI AND Mini display, which was like having 3 screens.
I was actually pretty dismayed, when the ATI 6770 graphics card that I ordered with my listed below desktop, could only do 2 screens, when a semi budget laptop could essentially do 3!
When I did have 3 with the laptop, the third one was just for plugins or whatever, but it was truly fantastic to have the extra space, regardless of the fact the x2 TV's are only 18.5".
Apparently this NEW 7770 card can have up to 6 displays![but with only 1x Dual DVI,1xHDMI and 2x mini display port,I only see options for 4 screens?]
If a GPU expert could explain how a card with only 4 outlets could have 6 screens,I'd love to know HOW they'd be physically connected,THANKS.
