but alas, no phase button on the bus. makes sense though, you need wave data to invert.

Just for the record, that statement from earlier in this old thread was not accurate. Tracks can invert the phase of live, input-echoed audio as well as recorded audio from file. Cakewalk just never chose to implement phase inversion on buses; based on the dearth of similar threads, it's obviously not a very common need.

Channel Tools is not a ProChannel module as you apparently discovered, if you want it in the Prochannel you can use an FX chain module to host it. Otherwise just insert in the bus's FX bin.

the phase thing is a great way to goose stereo drum samples.

i am slowly discovering the Platinum benefits. lots of great tools.

the Channel Tools plug in is perfect in the bus FX stack.

now, if i can just find the LP-64 EQ (Producer and Studio only) plug in ...

since i am wanking around with phased tracks/channel, from the Cakewalk page:

"LP-64 EQ provides highly accurate control of tonal balance while maintaining a linear-phase shift at all frequencies, regardless of the gain settings."

using this seems like more Platinum Perfection.

though, managing these VSTs has been a minor challenge.

great thread!
