All great work here Mark and Geno. My only complaint (and I think based on the comments that others feel it here too) is that kick drum sample. Seems to be too loud and same velocity for all hits. I would take the :480 beat and drop it's velocity by 20 or so. Then it would give it some more swing/groove. One of my all time favs btw.

Just listened to the latest version... really nice work. Everything comes across nicely, the vocals and instrumentation all sound great, and it has a nice bit of that era's "sound".

SteveC - Appreciate you taking the time to listen to the updated mix. Took a number of the suggestions regarding the drums and made a few other tweaks to clean it up. Glad the changes came through and appreciate the listen. Daryl-Thanks, appreciate it. Glad the mix tweaks worked. Regards

Lucky me ... I heard version 1 and as it was ended was able to start right into version 2. Version 1 was impressive but pales once you hear version 2. EXCELLENT vocals, guitar, bass and production. Both versions have nice dynamic range but the mix on version 2 sounds more polished. Great job guys!

Great job capturing that 60's/70's vibe on this! I only listened to the 2nd version. Vocals sound great. The mix sounded really good to me, too. Nothing stuck out to me as far as crits. The whole song sounded very balanced and period correct. And I agree that Glen was a very talented player. Great job guys!

Gents, Really appreciate you chiming in on the new/updated mix. JimF - Thanks for the listen, I am glad to hear the update is that noticeably different. I thought it sounded better but my hearing isn't what it used to be, so says the wife;) Appreciate you taking the time to compare both versions. Leadfoot - Appreciate it, was going for the late 60's sound so happy that was conveyed. Warren - Thx for checking out the update. Glad to hear it prompted a good flashback to the past...Appreciate it. Regards

Great voice. I've always loved this tune - and you did a great tribute to Glenn Campbell. Very nice.

Ah... Late to the party on this one, as it has only just risen back to the top, thanks to Tony digging it up I know nothing about Glen Campbell, although you would had to have lived in a cave for the last forty years not to be familiar with this tune. I listened to the latest version. Great singing and great arrangement. Mix was solid too. Expertly done. Excellent cover... cheers andy
