This is off topic but Flintstones related and is an indication of the far reaching social implications of the Flintstones … so, please forgive me.

I was channel surfing late last night and watched a bit of the Travel Channel’s  “Anthony Bourdain, No Reservations”.  The concept of the show is (and I quote from Travel Channels’ web page) “Anthony Bourdain uncovers the best in culinary cuisine across the world.”

http://www.travelchannel.com/TV_Shows/Anthony_Bourdain

The show was in Dubai and he was with a family at their residence sampling the cuisine of the Middle East.  The host piled a large portion of meat on a bed of rice and the said in English with an accent (roughly quoted) “a Flintstone’s helping”.

Wilma keeps getting tagged as a nagging whiner, but look what she had to put up with. She had reason to complain, I think.
Did you notice that she has red hair?

Betty all the way. How smart can Wilma be, she married Fred? Barney is a fun loving, honest gentleman, Fred, an overbearing loudmouth.

Woah! Just found out about The Pebbles And Bamm-Bamm Show!

Found a photograph:

I assume the chick in the front is Pebbles, she's hot!

And the guys in the back are obviously on drugs, especially the one with the
specs.

I still prefer Jessica though.

Yeah, all my mates are at the beer festival on Pitchie.
I like beer, just don't like beer festivals for reasons too long to go into.

So I'm spending Friday night  ogling at female character from the Flintstones....

Hmm, I'm off to the pub to try and snap out of it.

I don't think I could handle Bam-Bam for too long. He'd drive me crazy, so I'd have to go with Wilma as well ... I never was a big stones fan though .... Too many Micks... Never mind, wrong stones!

Plus, Wilma was modeled after Alice Kramden, who I always thought was the brains of that outfit.  --- Bang, Zooom !!! gotta love 'em!

Betty was hotter than Wilma, but she was overly protective of her dangerous juvenile delinquent son, and less emotionally stable. So Wilma, definitely. Plus, Wilma was modeled after Alice Kramden, who I always thought was the brains of that outfit.

And, I always thought she was such a hottie!
