Fleer Or those sweet OrangeTree guitars.
While I have some of the Music Lab products I find the OTS guitars to be more convincing. As a non guitarist I find being able to bash out chords on a keyboard and get realistic strummed guitar out to be quite inspiring. Add automation of the strum position and fretting position and it gets much better. That said I have not seen the latest Music Lab updates with the new song function. I will certainly be watching he groove 3 ML videos..

mumpcake I think on this board, more of us would be interested in the AAS GS2 Strum product, largely because an intro version is packaged with Sonar.
Done! I just finished a series on Strum GS 2, and I have to say - it is fantastic! Anyway, it's not out yet. It should be released in a couple of weeks. Keep your eyes peeled on the Friday announcements from groove3. It's coming soon.

I just re-read my post and I think it unintentionally came off sounding like I think the video series is great. I meant that I thought the plug-in itself was great! As far as the series, I think each of you who watch it can decide for yourself how good it is or isn't :-)

She's on track, Lord M, she's on track! Edith adds: Eli indeed has several tutorials on songwriting, like Songwriting Theory, Songwriting with EZKeys, and now Songwriting Production and Arranging. Nice to see how Eli uses IK Multimedia compressors and EQ all over, with some McDSP and a few others added in for good measure.

Thanks for the positive feedback on the new arranging/producing videos! I have to say, I really enjoyed doing this series. And yeah, I love the IK Multimedia and McDSP EQs and compressors! It was nice also, for once, to not have my hands tied using host based effects exclusively :-) If you really like this series and want to see more like it, please let groove3 know..... If any of you are interested, I posted a little article about this series here: http://logic-pro-expert.com/logic-pro-blog/2016/08/02/arranging-and-production-in-logic-pro-x.html#.V6OCl1cye-I

Just watched the full set of EZ keys videos. I still can't get it to do a sus 2 chord though.
I have had EZ Keys Classic Electrics and the electric grand for a while but I have only really started trying to use them. These videos help a lot, but I am going to need more MIDI and I really want to try using my own vamps and arpeggios.

Just found out that using EZ Keys MIDI out you can drive another VSTi in Sonar. As I only have the Electric Grand and Electric Classics I found this really useful as I can use any one of the zillion pianos I have in Kontakt to audition the patterns and chords.

This is how I do my piano parts... I write them in EZKeys and then use the MIDI to drive one of my other Pianos... while the EZKeys pianos are "ok", I have much better options...

I like to fire up EZ Keys and use my Fishman TriplePlay. As any guitar player would know you don't have to move all your fingers at once when changing chords. You just have to get your fingers moved before hit the string again. The dealio on EZ Keys that shows what chord you are playing can change several times before you get to the next chord. I really enjoy that and I learn something. And get some different ideas for songs. That puts me in the mood for another Fleer beer tutorial. He should start and on line service and call it Pint3. Edith says: don't encourage him.

Mesh, you should try that Adaptiverb, even on guitars, it's a 30 day demo. Incredible thing. Musical heaven. At last I understand why software can do more than emulating stuff. This is the future indeed.

Seeing how much you really like this, I definitely will demo it. The only thing that has discouraged me from demoing it is if it turns out to be really good.............then, the price comes into play.
