I've had a quick play and X1b is much more stable for me. Although I was running X1a off a pretty full HDD, which I've now emptied a bit so that may also be helping! Andy

downloaded and installed x1b in less than 5 minutes at around 3pm. everything seems cool by me, but then again, i was one of "those people" that x1a worked well for, except for the major stuff like v-vocal and audio snap of course, but that's fixed now, so i'll be checking into those pretty soon.

I'm excited to read about b working for someone. There's been so much negative feedback already. Ma@ B - please weigh in on the v-vocal and audio snap when you get around to it.

OK a few things that I'm very happy about. When using the new Atlantis module of Tru Pianos at low latency I would get pops and clicks when my CPU started getting pushed. These are now gone completely and it runs quite smooth (SONAR 64). Also, I was having issues with jBridge when trying to freeze some tracks. It would crash jBridge (initially thought this was their issue). Happy to report that all jBridge plugins now freeze correctly. Pro Channel seems to be much smoother as well. PS For thos of you wondering the Atlantis Tru Pianos module is something you get if you buy the full version (didn't want to create confusion).

Happy happy happy... x64 runs perfectly. Playback of all 3 audio tracks goes smootly without any issues and CPU usage is under 70%. System: i7-950, 3,5 GHz, 12 GB DDR, SSD + RAID0 arrays.

Big performance gain here. I'm actually shocked. For an audio-only test, all I have to do is load the Cori Yacrkin project. With my older machine, I had to crank my ASIO buffer size to 1024 or higher to get it to play back, and the CPU meter always maxed out during the synth break at 2:25. Now I can play back at 256 samples with minimal pops, and completely smooth playback at 512, even at the synth break. Another project with 16 Kontakt instruments that barely played back at 1024 samples now plays back at 512. Hard to believe but true.
