X2 and XP w/SP3

    Not remotely worth the try...time for an upgrade.

    Hmmmm ... I guess that doesn't make an upgrade deal much of a deal, huh?

    Just kidding.  I know I'm behind.  Did I read something about downgrades somewhere?

    If I upgrade to X2 can I run the latest version supported on XP until I upgrade my platform?

    +1 on the negative.  X2a relies on some OS routines being installed, and they only come in on SP1 of Win 7, to the best of my knowledge.
