yup, mine are all in C:\VST64 (and previously VST32) for years now, but not all users are quite so savvy; it's one of those advices that appear regularly on these here forums

Just logged an issue which will probably get turned into an enhancement request, about changing the default VST file path folder to be away from program files for new installations. That would help a lot of people.

Sell by date at 9000 posts. Do not feed.
@48/24 & 128 buffers latency is 367 with offset of 38.

This is related to windows permissions. Windows explorer does not run as an administrator. When Sonar is run with administrator permissions it is elevated and explorer, and many other tasks, are prevented from saying hello.

IIRC I think there was a more current thread that identified this as a Windows problem when running as admin.
