So I have rolled back to X3b and reinstalled X3c and done the plugin scan.
apart from the not selecting the DPE it seems fine can open plugins fine
I am about half way thru a mix and having a coffee break.
No sign of any slow up when scrolling either.
I am not a dive in deep user. Though Comp track now is a god send for me.
It is very simple mix of what is recorded. ProCh working fine. Yay!
And the way CW is coming out with fast updates it goes to show support is better than ever
for Sonar.

How come these aliens are intelligent enough to cross millions of light years of empty space but can't ever remember to turn off the landing lights on their flying saucers?

Actually space is not empty, it's full of stuff like hydrogen molecules.
It is a high crime for an alien to reveal itself to a lower echelon civilization. LOLOL

PS the plugin rescan was the key.
