Your single BIGGEST hope for SONAR in 2017
Just an informal poll. Of course if you want results The Bakery is probably the place to go. Ability to insert/delete holes even with varying tempos and time signature with non-contiguous MIDI or AUDIO clips.

In priority order: 1. Stability 2. Performance 3. Straighten out COMPing and implement for MIDI 4. MIDI aux tracks 5. Whirled Peas 6. Fix Inst Track IM and show them in CV without having to enable MIDI tracks 8. Make CS/ACT easy and beautiful 9. Give the Staff View users whatever they want 10. Provide a full featured sampler for everybody that needs one 11. Start telling EZD what time sig projects are in again 12. Reduce overall "sensitivity" to low level Windows OS code 13. Enhance Themes to allow color strips in custom themes - do other cool stuff for themes too. 14. Overhaul Drum Map Manager 15. Fix global FX bypass <-> PC interactions 16. Implement multiple marker lanes 17. Implement a region lane/system for marking/tinting regions/sections to work in conjunction with ripple 20. Flesh out all partially implemented enhancements/features 21. Implement (fully) the top 20 user submitted/voted FRs This should keep everybody busy until June or July.

Still see some weird midi behavior using vsti "enable midi out" 1) Project plays great, but when you bounce down, the track receiving "enable midi out" does not come out. 2) Sometimes for no reason a hi-hat or snare will start hitting a key on a virtual synth or piano...I then switch the midi input to something different and then back again and it clears it up. 2) Selecting "none" on midi input comes up as Omni I now mostly record the "enable mid out" and then turn off all enable midi out tracks before bouncing.

I want Ripple Edit. Nested Folders in Track View would be cool. I also would like Regions. For example: It would be cool to select time in the Time Line, make it a Region, then add a Marker (which would actually be two markers, one at the beginning, one at the end, with a single click. I suppose the act of creating a Region would just do this automatically.
