Your worst plug in purchases?

I have stuff that pi$$e$ me off that I purchased it, that the product is not worth what I paid for it.

Me
The East-West Dark Side and Fab Four libraries.  Yeah the samples are good - very good - but they are very limited for what you pay.  And you are stuck using their player.

Everything TC Electronic.  I was a huge fan of their outboard gear - two reverbs and the Fireworks box.  But the TC Power core had problems from day 1 - went for 2 years without a 64 bit upgrade and then they discontinued it.  TC is forever on my $hit li$t now.

And I have some Waves plugs - the guitar amp sim thing, a few other effects - I hate them.

Its a shame that some big names turn out some mediocre stuff.

By comparison,
I love my Melda Productions stuff - it is whack.  Multiband chorus, delay, saturation...
I love the Audio Damage stuff - great bang for the Buck
G Media - great stuff too.
And anything PSP makes.

Some people call me Maurice

I bought these US to UK plug converters for my 2010 UK Tour.

    Now they are useless.

I do admit I am a junkie.  I do not want to say how many plugins I have purchased.  It is embarrassing.  And expensive.

Some people collect stamps for reasons best known to them.

I don't think having loads of plug-ins is a bad thing, they are fun to play with and are certainly non-fattening.

A year or two ago Esoundz (which I think is a great site and service) had a massive Drum Group Buy thingy.  It was massive...took days to download all of it.  Runs under Kontakt.  Fabulous drum libraries.  I got them all.  I never use them.  I am a dimwit.  And a wastrel.

Best bang for the buck...Nomad Factory's Magnetic...$49 semolians.  Love it, love it, love it.

Only now Waves has that new MPX doo-hickey.  Shoot.

I did the Steven Slate Drums on one of those and they are excellent.  I have magneto and I have the Studer for UAD.  Magneto has more character.  Studer is probably closer to realistic.

Worst buy: Wusikstation. I could never get my brain wrapped around its way of doing things - others have done some great stuff with it, though.

Best buy: Probably Battery 3.  You can do so much with that program, the possibilities are many.

I try to evaluate the plug before I buy it..... and generally don't buy it.

I do however have a bunch of FREE plugs that I must admit,,,,are not worth what I paid for them!

That PWF.... mainly because I bought them as well. I installed the first collection... real nice... nice enough that I never installed the second collection. Plus I still prefer to use Jim's Jet City library.

    Someday.

    maybe?

That is exactly why it is his worst plugin (lack of curry flavor or scent).

Worst - Cakewalk Pyro. Would never see my cd drive. Tech support couldn't help and since I opened it I was out $40
Best - Delay Lama. Ok not the best but still cracks me up.
Too many good to list. Kjaerhus Classic series (Free not available anymore), Gliss EQ, PSP Vintage Warmer just to name a few.
