cakewalk tts-1 sound continues
hi everyone. A question. Anyone know what this could be...using sonar x3 producer. While i was trying cakewalk tts-1 ,i noticed that while playing a lot of the instruments on my keyboard(casio wk3800)..the sound jams, that is a note keeps playing. Example was soprano sax..playing nicely, when suddenly a note would keep playing after hitting a key. Have to turn off the x3 to get rid of it. Happens with most of the sax and reeds instruments and just now the ethnic section. Any ideas ??/Ray

Have you tried increasing your MIDI "prepare using" setting to around 500?

It sounds to me like either a Note Off message isn't being received, or there's a Sustain control message somewhere with no corresponding Sustain off (ctrl #64). Have you tried recording a MIDI track that reproduces the issue you're seeing, and looking at the MIDI Event List?

i noticed you mentioned sustain control message. I also have a problem with some hammond vst's..for example VB3 ..when i'm using the sustain(#64) as on /off for the rotary..when the fast is on,the sustain seems to be still working..because when i take my hands off the keys it still keeps playing, while my foot is on the pedal.IT should stop playing when i take my hands off?? So when its at off ,no probs changing chords..but when i change to fast ,everytime i change a chord the first chord is still playing. PS/when i use the modulation instead#1..it works perfect. It's like the sustain is on all the time when its pressed down
