I never take the bus. But having a quote like yours plastered on the side would surely reduce the number of passengers.

You should get that graffiti of your bus.

The CHB has taken me back to the shop many times to see if I can be redeemed for a real bass player.

They were told by the shop keeper each and every time "Sorry".

End of story.

A person is redeemed when he stops holding grudges that are of no benefit to him or anyone else.

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

Redeemability is usually on a state by state basis with the amounts printed on the can or bottle.

True but sometimes those grudges need to stay in place to keep the grudgee from causing more problems in the grudgers life.

An emotional person with a gift for rationalization would buy this outright.

OTOH, someone acting on reason would subject it to cost benefit analysis and make darn sure the "more problems" had a higher cost than the cost of holding a grudge.

And hopefully they wouldn't forget the costs they impose on the rest of us by constantly subjecting us to grievances we may not be a party to or have much interest in.

Gee, what a mess. And I don't even know what it's about. But here's a thought. If you file a police report, are you holding a grudge?

Yes. Kinda the same as calling your lawyer because somebody said something you didn't like on the internet.

Forgetfulness isn't to be confused for forgiveness.

I'm not the redeemer fortunately, but there is an amount that I'm prepared to take before I'd be silly to take any more.  Once I'm that fed up with someone it becomes difficult to find any further welcome for them then normally I'd need convincing there had been some major change occured before I'd slowly allow them back into a position of trust.

You can't unsee that which has already been seen I guess, so I can forgive but sometimes it's impossible to forget.
