well I tried it completely deleted the old files, and reinstalled tts1 but had no luck same problem, this is really blowing my mind, in dimension pro if I try to use the pitch wheel on my keyboard it distorts for a second then return and functions properly but only in sonar, not if I use it standalone, the same with modulation wheel.
these problems weren't happening last month, but all of a sudden now they are,  I dont  get  if cakewalk has know of this problem way back with version 6 why didn't they fix it by now? it seems ridiculous to me that a person has to pay for upgrades to software that supposedly  may resolves bugs, if a person pays for software, that has bugs in it the developer should give you a free update to fix the bugs they know about.

but please give it a try and see if you have better luck with it.

Dam!
At least you tried it mysonar8.
I’ll do some more thinking on this issue. Ill get on to Tec support, although I wont hold my breath that I get a useful reply.
I’ll let you know what I find out, please do likewise

I told them about it a few days ago, their answer......" try switching it to 48, or 44.1 and see if that resolves the issue."

Beagle you can declare the manuals wrong, you can point to as many form strings as you like, you can state that it can’t be done...
But mysonar8 had it working
I’ve had TTS-1 at 24/96 on two previous computers, using Sonar 6 and 8.5
And that’s what I call “empirical evidence”

Mysonar8 I say theirs away around it and we'll find it

Good for you.  this isn't a contest.

it may work for some people some of the time but not for everyone and it's been a known problem since it came out.  cake's official response from tech support is going to be exactly like mysonar8 said:  "change your sampling rate to 44.1k or 48k."  they don't plan to fix it.

I’m leaning to believe our problem is Dxi based.

The TTS-1,and Roland groove synth produce distorted sounds, at 24/96 and when mysonar8 using his keystudio  49 and myself using edirol PCR-500. find that the pitch wheel malfunctions.

Would like to know what other forum member have experienced.

Thanks in advance

I had some strange background noise problems recently on a project and I fixed it by increasing my ASIO buffers on my sound card. Not sure if that would help in this case, but it's worth a try. Set them high just to see if there's any difference, say like 2048, and reboot Sonar.

The other thing you could do is, do a project at 44.1/24, do your tts-1 midi tracks, export it to 96/24, then load it in to another project at 96/24 and do the rest of your tracks.

Thanks for the suggestion Bub. Increasing my ASIO buffers was the first thing I tried but to no avail.
I realize export then import is an option but not a clean approach, plus I tend to redo my midi bit as the song progresses, so I would be going back and forth. Not an option.

The only real solution is to make the TTS-1 work at 24/96 like the TTS-1 manual states it is capable of, and the way it did on my XP and vista machines.
Thanks again for your input… GlennP
